Aromatherapy a sense of well-being

Aromatherapy promotes a sense of well-being
Stomachaches, digestive problems, or an upset stomach: Many people, including children, are affected by these issues. Studies show that about one in five schoolchildren occasionally complains of recurring abdominal discomfort. This results not only in frequent visits to the doctor but also in absences from school and work.
Natural Essential Oils help relieve discomfort because they are good not only for the body but also for the mind.
Studies consistently show that stomach problems often have causes beyond the physical. Everyday stress, emotional tension, or changes in daily life can also “upset the stomach.”
Especially in children, worries, excitement, or anxiety often manifest as stomachaches. “Our stomach isn’t just any part of the body,” explains our Aromatherapy Anusati, “it very sensitively reflects everything that moves us.”
The reason: Unlike other organs, the gut has its own nervous system that is closely connected to the brain. This so-called gut-brain axis ensures that emotions can trigger immediate physical reactions in the abdomen.
“Especially in children, everyday emotional stress often manifests as stomachaches,” Anusati knows from decades of experience. Transitions such as starting preschool, changing schools, or social challenges can have physical effects—often without any clear physical cause.
Aromatherapy: The Power of Plants for Holistic Well-being
Many families are therefore looking for gentle alternatives to relieve symptoms and holistically support their well-being. All-natural Essential Oils valuable support because they combine the soothing power of plants with touch, warmth, and scent—thereby addressing both body and mind at the same time.
This is because these high-quality plant essences always work on two levels: when absorbed through the skin, their relaxing effects can provide relief. The Scents also influence the limbic system in the brain through the sense of smell—the area responsible for well-being, emotions, and memory.
Essential Oils a Good Gut Feeling
These essential oils have proven effective in the aromatherapeutic treatment of abdominal problems:
- Marjoram: This warm, spicy oil is considered soothing and balancing. When used in a massage oil, it can help relieve tension in the abdomen and provide a sense of comfort.
- Roman chamomile is one of the gentler essential oils. It has a soothing and relaxing effect and is ideal for sensitive skin.
- Anise seeds can aid digestion when used in a massage, have a relaxing effect, and can promote a pleasant, soothing feeling in the stomach.
